Lead Mission Designer: Heroic Game Day

Educational MMO for kids. Used in schools across the U.S. and India. Built for Chrome and Chromebooks.

  • Led mission design team & mission development.

  • Released 200+ Missions.

  • Spent 1 year as mission designer. Created levels, mechanics & stories.

  • Tools used - Proprietary web-based editor, Unity, Miro, Jira

Level Design: Tavern Crawl

Final school project. Action-adventure game with crafty cocktails & a very cute mouse!

  • 38,000 license activations & 10,000 players after the first year.

  • Designed levels for the opening tutorial, final level, & final boss arena

  • Assisted with set dressing, presented feature research & more.

  • Tools used - Unreal Engine 4, GitHub, Asana

  • Team size - 25 people

  • Time spent - Two semesters (32 weeks)

Level Design & Scripting: Zelda Bomb Shrine

Personal project to deepen my Unreal Engine skills.

  • Recreated Link’s Remote Bomb abilities using Blueprints.

  • Designed, blocked-out, and scripted a shrine style level.

  • Scripted cutscenes, puzzles, and collectibles.

  • Tools used - Unreal Engine 5, GitHub, Miro

  • Team size - Solo

  • Time spent - 60 hours

Rapid game prototypes each created within different sets of challenges & requirements.

  • Designed mechanics, levels, & overall gameplay.

  • Scripted in Unreal Blueprints, and C#

  • Built games for tablet, VR & PC

  • Tools used - Unity, Unreal Engine 5, GitHub, Perforce, Miro

  • Team sizes - 7 to 15 people

  • Time spent - 4 to 8 weeks

About Me

I’m a game designer living in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Currently, I’m a master’s in game design student at the University of Utah.

Previously, I worked as Lead Mission Designer on Heroic Gameday: an educational MMO for kids.

I graduated in 2022 from the University of Utah’s undergraduate game program.

Some of my favorite games include: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Jusant, SKATE 3, Destiny 2, STEEP, Titanfall 2, and A Short Hike.

Outside of games I enjoy hiking, camping, climbing, reading and Formula 1.
